These questions are meant to be a resource, but don’t feel limited to what is listed here. Always feel free to bring up additional questions and topics to your mentor and critical friend. Your mentor will also have a list of suggested topics to discuss with you.

Questions for Your Mentor

• How do you see different members of your community living out their personal vocations?

• Have you ever received an assignment that surprised you? What do you think you learned about yourself from this?

• Did you have to change your name when you entered religious life? If so, did you take the name of a saint? Why?

• Do you have siblings? What do they do? How have you seen God lead them to holiness through their vocations?

Questions for Your Critical Friend

• What were some things that surprised you from this workshop?

• What was your impression of the teachings on the Universal Call to Holiness?

• Talk a bit about the gifts you have that you enjoy living out. What kind of activities do you most enjoy doing? What do you think you can learn about yourself from this?

• Do you have any favorite saints? What about their life inspires you?
