Discerning God’s call for your life can be a daunting journey, especially if you try to do it alone. We’ve created a way to connect you with a mentor who will walk with you as you discover God’s call for your life.

Our program requirements are meant to ensure the best possible experience for both you and your mentor!


Program Requirements

  • Applicants must be discerning a call to consecrated religious life in the Catholic Church.

  • Applicants must be Catholic.

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18-30 years old to participate in the program with a Vocations Outreach mentor.

    • If you are over the age of 30, you are still welcome to apply as age exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis.

  • Applicants must have frequent access to a computer and must be willing to engage in long-distance communication.

  • Applicants must be fluent in English.


Program Expectations

  • The online formation workshops will take place on the Catechetical Institute’s Learning Management System (LMS). Discerners will be expected to become familiar with this system.

  • Discerners should be prepared to set aside 1-2 hours each week for formation.  Discerners consistently failing to complete formation tasks may be dismissed from the program.

  • Program participants must maintain communication with their mentor and critical friend during the course of the program.
